Secure Comminications with Uni Students

Today saw me discussing Android Apps and the various methods of ensuring their secure communications across possibly insecure networks with final year Information Security students at Plymouth University. Some excellent ideas were flowing regarding how to transmit the security information (“passwords” or “keys”, for want of easier terms) from one device to another when the transmission network itself (mobile network, in this instance) could possibly already be compromised.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the prototype app, should this be chosen for further development.
